2007

Leading BPM Methodology Group, BPM Consultant

Developed a new hybrid methodology aimed at organisations seeking to improve or re-engineer their business processes and utilise BPM software to drive and energise their change programme.

2006

Leading US Bank, Project Manager

Delivered process improvements and software changes into a Tibco/Vignette customer contact BPM system. The project was run as a Lean-Agile project and was responsible for initiating the project, building the project team, securing a Process Owner from the business, reporting to the Steering Group, and pushing the project through the PMBOK gateways and into full Agile development.

2005

Major UK Utilities Company, Programme Manager

Responsible for upgrade of a number of business-critical BPM systems built on Staffware and Vignette technologies. Also upgraded Archiving strategy (involving data migration) and renewed the OCR service.

2004

Leading UK Transport Company, Project Manager

Responsible for re-development of customer relations system, using Staffware BPM and Spescom document management, as well as a number of other software packages, requiring extensive supplier interaction. Data cleansing and archiving were implemented as part of this project.

 

The system used a range of technologies to deliver highly streamlined processing of work, including multi-channel input (web, e-mail, paper, fax, phone), OCR and straight-through processing.

2003

Leading UK Bank, Project Manager

Responsible for the implementation of an “Image & Workflow” BPM solution. The objective of the project was to implement a case processing infrastructure that would deliver commonality of service across the business. Third-party software vendors were engaged to deliver the systems. The system uses Tibco/Staffware as its BPM infrastructure.

2000 - 2002

Local Government, Project Manager

Undertook an assignment to help two local authorities with a fast-track procurement for BPM. This involved producing detailed requirements, liasing with potential suppliers and managing a procurement exercise.

 

Assignment to assist organisation to procure a BPM system for their housing benefits and revenues departments. This entailed creation of a requirements specification, ITT documentation and reviewing tender responses and system demonstrations/reference visits

1994 – 1999

Multiple Assignments, Project Leader / Manager

·          Managing SLAs and service delivery timetables.

·          Building knowledge of structured methodologies (PRINCE, PRINCE 2).
